Our guides are the heart of Wine Country Vespa trips.  Together, they form a diverse cadre of local Vespa riders who know Sonoma/Napa in and out and have been exploring this area on two wheels for many years.  You can’t help but share their authentic enthusiasm for this beautiful slice of country.

Bill & Rosa:  After a long career as a college educator & administrator, Bill recently retired and is happily volunteering and travelling on two wheels (bicycle, Harley, and his trusty Vespa).  Rosa is the director of a major university’s local campus and celebrates her Italian heritage with every ride on the Vespa.

Scott & Sheryl:  When he’s not guiding bicycle tours through Italy, bike-maker Scott can be found on two wheels all over Northern California’s amazing roads.  Sheryl is an incredibly talented artist whose work graces many major collections.  She also creates commercial works for home chains like Pottery Barn and others when she’s not riding.

Jodi & Tom:  When she’s not building her photography portfolio, Jodi is on her Vespa nearly every day as she volunteers and mentors the local community arts program for high schoolers.  Tom is a physician, a long distance cyclist, and he knows more than a few amazing and secret spots in the area.

Johnna & Roy:  The captain of Wine Country Vespa, Johnna is a writer and Sonoma County native who spent her entire childhood living on the top of one the area’s largest peaks.  Roy learned how to ride a Vespa in Rome years ago while visiting his cousins.  After a colorful career in the music business, he’s most fortunate to be spending his days teaching at a local college and riding and cavorting with the hilarious and talented Johnna.
